It has been a happening November.
It had'nt been a good month for me, i'm looking forward for a better month of december... fondly know as the month of celebration.
still..
With so much things in mind.
I'm seriously reflecting through...
THINK.
It are'nt that easy to be on TV.
It is certainly not easy to be producing or doing TV shows either.
Look at all the graveyard shifts, we are not refering to office hours 8-5 my dear... it's usually a min of 12-14 hours at 7am-7pm, 12nn-12mn, 6pm-6am shifts, tons of preparation work, You've got to check on the artist, their wardrobe, make-ups, do effects... and the list just goes on and on....
It seems you have to lay a foot in everything, and if something goes wrong, it had to be you.
Unlike the Filming Crew, they can pack and go home once filming ends.
Not for our case.. we have to slog back to office, to kill off all paperwork, cuesheets, schedules..
Back home? Darn. It's homework again going through scripts and rundowns for tomorrow.
I know they are exploiting ppl all the time. But i think they should hab a limit to it. Fancy putting only 2 ppl to juggle 3 shooting teams.
If you think 12 hrs a day is not enuff, welcome 12-16 hrs a day, 6 days a week, of if you are really unlucky, work 10 days straight non-stop, before you can get a one day break.
I don't hate this job. In fact, i'm grateful to some of the ppl here that has been guiding me throughout this media experience.
Shooting angles, SFX effects, Cue sheets, Props etc. Not bad at all.
Still.. i can't deny that this is dragging me on. Tiring out..
With the fact that they are exploiting me further.. (With the hours i'm working and the pay i'm getting, i'm on par to a Mcdonalds serice crew. Even they get more benefits.. I can't even take leave during project, unless dead urgent. wat the heck man.)
Office politics (Oh yes man, they look at who is who..)...
Darn, a big price to pay for some Media Experience man.
That's why i;m thinking. Whether this is really the job i want. I though of being an aspiring Director before. But with this company, with the Singapore market. It does'nt seem to be that anymore.
Is this the way of life?
That at this point of time, we have to try on different things..
I thought so.
We are still young.. arn't we?

It's been quite some time. And many things seemed to have happened.
Too much to write too much too think too much to say too much to bear.
Still, I miss the good old days.
How are you friends?
How are you my Past?
How about the Future?
Time will tell.
As I seek the strength.
I'll find an answer.
And slience it.
